twenty eleven

i've spent the first day of the new year blogging at the kitchen table at the home of my in-laws.  

i wish i didn't just have to post several posts in a row.  even with this effort, i haven't gotten through as much as i hoped.  multiple posts in one day annoy me.  "catch up" annoys me.  but, whattya do?  it's important to me to document our lives but man, is it ever time consuming. 

so here we are, twenty eleven.  holy smokes.  it's crazy.  the second decade of our lives as mr. and mrs.  it's special and neat.  i'm excited about it.

the husband and i spent new years eve together.  just the two of us.  we went to dinner and we went shopping.  we went to two movies!  it was a great day/evening and then this morning, we stayed in bed until 11:00!  who does that?!  

i resolve to ____________ .  i'm still working on this (i'll get back to you).  it's also important to me to set goals, to have something to work toward but, i like to do this all year.  like last month, i resolved to not gain weight during the holidays.  i succeeded.  another big fat phew. phew.  i have goals for 2011, i do.  i just need to think some more about them and then, write them down.

so, what's in store for 2011?  i'm not sure yet but, i'm guessing many great things.
