hawaii part V

i'm beginning to feel a little anxiety over the number of posts about our trip so far. i lack confidence in my knowledge of roman numerals. hopefully i won't have too many more or i'll surely embarrass myself.

my parents returned from maui yesterday and brought with them their camera. i thought i'd post some beach photos that my mom got because they're great.

on this particular day, cayden stood within 10 feet of a 300 to 400 pound sea turtle. unfortunately, jake was the only adult around tending to the kids as the rest of us adults were frolicking in the water. he didn't have time to grab the camera but cayden said it was extremely cool and out of anyone, he was best picked as the one for the opportunity. he was ecstatic!

this beach was a little rocky and rough on the feet but the water was incredibly blue. i believe it was called brennecke beach but i'm not sure. most that i can recall of the location is we drove to the south end of the island to get there and on the way there was an amazing "tunnel of trees" that i also didn't get a photo of. my dad was annoyed enough at the people driving slow so they could appreciate the beauty. i didn't think to ask him to pull over.

here's my fabulous family at the beach.

I really thought about the Roman Numeral issue the other day... I was looking forward to how you handled it. (because I don't know either.)
I love these pictures.
LOVE.
