happy birthday sissy

my sweet girl turns five today. i know it's cliche to say how i can't believe how fast the time has gone by but, it's the truth. she, of all three, seems to be aging at a far more accelerated pace.

i love her.

brooklyn is beauty to me. every time i look at her face, even if i'm getting after her for something, i pause for a minute just to admire. she really is so special.

today is a day of celebrating. we opened with donuts for breakfast and it will be grilled cheese and french fries for dinner with the rest of the family. oh, and presents, we cannot forget the presents.
