halloween ~ twenty ten

dead football player, wicked witch and buzz lightyear

buzz was way into it this year.  

he walked hand in hand with a dead football player (a very patient dead football player, i might add) as they went from house to house collecting candy.

he didn't want to be held.

he didn't want help holding his "canny."

sometimes kids are awesome.

my mom and i sat forever waiting for the kids to come through the gymnasium at the elementary school.

i failed to snap the shot in time when the witch came by.

and when the dead football player made the rounds, he took buzz along with him.  buzz thought this was pretty dang cool.  got himself all up in their classroom business.

though you wouldn't know it by looking at this photo, he was pretty bummed to have to leave the school with boring mom and grandma.
