thankfully

remember last year when i said thanksgiving is probably my least favorite holiday? yeah? well, it's still true. for me, it's another great excuse to be with my family and for my husband to get to stay in bed with me just a little while longer in the morning (which is the best as long as he doesn't try touching me {have i mentioned i'm not a morning person?}). this year, i'm thankful for holiday pay.

i don't really get the holiday. history wasn't really my thing. i'm not ashamed either. turkey is only okay, mashed potatoes are way too heavy and i've lost my taste for stuffed celery and candied yams (sorry mom). but, i am thankful and i like pumpkin pie. this year i'm looking forward to the company and tasting the pumpkin roll i made today.
