i'm lucky

i feel lucky that he made the decision to go through with it. nine years ago today, after heavily medicating himself he stood there and said "i do" or maybe it was the other way around? either way, one (or both) of us made the right choice by showing up that day.

he loves me and i'm lucky. he drives me around looking so handsome. my man. i'm so lucky.

happy anniversary husband. i'll see you tonight for dinner. crock pot style. maybe we can sit next to each other and laugh lovingly over the noise level that our offspring so regularly create. maybe we'll successfully dodge flying food but if not, i'll clean your shirt for you. that is .... if you'll take it off. it's going to be a night you'll never forget.
