cornbelly's
my pictures folder is overwhelming. i have so many things to talk about and share including our little day out to cornbelly's with grandma linda and ann.
because it was uea weekend, both linda and ann had the day off from school and of course, so did cayden and brooklyn. linda had offered to take the kids for the day and then the rest of the family was going to meet up later that night to have dinner at the cabin. she's always so great to give me a little relief and quiet time when she can and i look forward to these times but mostly when the quiet time can be spent with jake. when i started to plan my day, i realized i was going to be really bored all by myself so i suggested we head down to thanksgiving point for the day.
i'm glad we did.
there were tractor rides, places to jump and slide, face painting and an interesting pig race. we made record time through the corn maze without ever figuring out the 24th word of the "hokey pokey" and we treated ourselves to some delicious pumpkin squares. all and all, it was a fun day.

"This is probably caused by a slip of the fingers more often than by a slip of the mental gears, but one often sees “quite” (very) substituted for “quiet” (shhh!). This is one of those common errors your spelling checker will not catch, so look out for it."
