heehaw farms

this is how we spent our last saturday.
at heehaw farms.
it was fun.

the boys shot ears of corn out of a "cannon"

i've been picking up kernels of corn around the house ever since this little adventure

baby gage came too and he brought his momma and daddy with him.
i need to quit calling him baby gage because he's growing fast and will likely resent the nickname much sooner than later.

the husband wore his cowboy boots.
naturally.

and here is the wee one making motor-like sounds as he drives a rubber horse

my boy told me he was "getting good" as he inched closer and closer to the target

presh

"hiya mom!"

after this failed attempt he announced, "i'm going to throw a rock at the chicken."  us adults ignored him until we saw he wasn't kidding as he picked up a rock large enough to do some serious damage and started walking towards that poor bird.

boys.

i blame this on his male gene because i would never and i was brought near to tears as i watched the "wheelbarrow pig races" ... not cool, not cool at all.  pulling the kids away from that scene took some bribing.  "who wants hot chocolate!?"

loving his seriousness as he prepares for a ride in the pink pig

i was there too.  thanks be to nat for capturing some proof.  if we'd been racing (these small children and i), i would have for sure won.  suckahs!

he we are discussing the power of our quads.  push son. use those muscles!
