dear children

november seemed so short and now santa's arrival is only a few weeks away. where does the time go? when i was little, i remember the time between thanksgiving and christmas seeming like an eternity and now time is moving much faster than i am.

this months post will be short.

i want to thank the three of you for making the holiday's so exciting for dad and i and i'm sure for everyone else who is lucky enough to spend time with you. you truly believe in all of the wonderful things that make christmas so fun including marcus, who is our family's very own "elf on the shelf."

each night marcus flies back to the north pole to tell santa about that days happenings and how well you all behaved. in the morning, marcus is the first person you seek as he lands in a different spot every time he returns. you're very careful to behave appropriately when he's in sight and wouldn't touch him if i dared you too as it will cause him to lose all of his magic.

i love marcus.

here are some of my favorite pics from the month ... i promise to write more next month.

i love you all so much.

Marcus sounds fabulous! I think I will get myself one!!!! Thanks for the idea!!! We have a class elf that we call on the phone everyday! I never thought of getting an "Elf on the Shelf". Our class Elf's name is Smirky. I do not remember my story behind that, it started years ago! This will be fun......

We have our own house elf too!! Richie. Which reminds me...I need to call the north pole and see where the heck he is. I totally forgot about him. I know...how could I forget?
