what more could a girl ask for ...

well, how about a computer that functions properly for starters. you know me, i love to blog and so not having my computer for a week not only had a major effect on my ability to work during the one week out the last six months that people actually needed my help but it also severely hindered my ability to post here and there and everywhere.

the computer came back, all shiny and newish, we plugged it in and what do you know? not a single program had been loaded and i am struggling to get the computer to recognize my camera. what's a girl to do without her blog? be resourceful, that's what. so i borrowed my mother-in-laws computer to get christmas pics off my camera so that i may share them here with you.

santa came and left a few things for the kids. c was excited to get his "ds" and hasn't put it down since (thank you nintendo) and b got the barbie party bus which looks like a great time although they're all already naked hanging out in the hot tub together. poor little baby was so sick which ended up being roseola after days with a terrible fever but he's better now and enjoying his toys too ...
and it snowed and snowed ... which was perfect christmas weather ... my family braved the storm to come out to hairyman for breakfast

husband's family came over to hang out for lunch and i get spoiled when linda's around, she takes all the pictures which i forgot to grab but here's one of b with her bitty baby and matching pj's ... a gift from grandma and grandpa ...
and then off to my parents where we had delicious prime rib and were spoiled some more.

here she is always giving and demonstrating aunt glo's tips for how to appear thinner in a picture by lifting your chin and sticking your neck out. we laughed ...
a lot of enthusiasm for michael clayton and a blue ray player ....

so excited for dark night and an iphone ...

boots and definitely maybe was it?

a new ipod offering more gigs for his tunes and eagle vs. shark ...

and i got lots of fun stuff including this here wallet and purse and romeo and juliet, a vs lounge outfit, slippers, a griddle ...
modeling their new christmas pj's ...

and a solid explanation for why my back keeps going out he's huge ...

i'm particularly excited to try out my new wii-fit from the in-law's... husband is loving his new tool belt for work ~ he's said so several times. thank you to scott and carol for the ice cream maker which i promise to use asap and to everyone else who thought of us this year!

Em, your kids are so beautiful and of course you and Jake always have been. I am glad you guys had a good holiday despite a poor sick baby boy. I look forward to being able to keep up with you a bit more frequently than the occasional update from my mom.

Good luck with all of those tech issues. I finally got fed up enough to go Mac and even though I use Dan's laptop [pc] sometimes because it's damned handy, I'll never go back :)
