The Wednesday Letters ...

I'm tired. I stayed up until 12:30 last night to finish this book. That might not seem late to some but I'm a sleeper, I LOVE my sleep and when not required to fill a baby's belly in the middle of the night, I shoot for a solid 9 hours of un-interrupted rest.

Really though, I'm not so discouraged at the lack of sleep as much as I am about the time I took out of my life to read this book. I'm sorry but it was horrible. It was recommended by someone from goodreads.com who gave it five out of five stars. This same person gave the Twilight series three out of five stars and I happened to quite enjoy those books. For me they were entertaining and that was all I was hoping for them to be so I agreed, I would probably have given the same scorecard; three out of five stars. This book, The Wednesday Letters was definitely not worthy of a five star rating. Maybe a one for effort, that's all I can offer.

If you've read it, I would be very interested to hear what you thought whether you agree or disagree. If you've not read it, I'd recommend first reading every other book that's gone untouched on your list before you spend any of your time with this one.

Sorry that your book was a bust! You have had bad book luck for awhile! I finished A Tree Grows in Brooklyn a little while ago and it's for sure in my top five..
