Randomness ...
I recently noticed another blogger call out her Diet Coke as her arch nemesis so I thought about it ~ it didn't take long to admit mine resides in a plastic cup ...
I have a longtime addiction to frozen mocha. This is very serious. I rely on my mocha to solve all of my problems. Tired? Get a Mocha. Hungry? Get a Mocha. Feeling and looking really chubby? Get a Mocha. The little voice in my head yells so loud for me to get a mocha that I will literally pack up all three kids, in their jammies, no matter how loud they yell just to go get my mocha!!
I otherwise live a very healthy lifestyle when it comes to diet and exercise (most of the time). Obviously, I have some weight to lose ... some = a lot but I have the hardest time kicking this addiction. I've done it before, I went a whole year without my mocha *2006* I was a hot mama and felt better then ever. I'm determined to get that woman back, to not hide every time someone pulls their camera out and fit into clothes that can help me feel like a little more then just some one's mom.
Why do you care? Because, I am, here and now vowing to kick my habit and steer clear of all Beans and Brew STATEWIDE starting tomorrow. It's your job to hold me accountable. Good Luck.
The next bit of randomness .... Guess who's making another appearance in Utah September 28th? SIGUR ROS. That's right people. Jake noticed yesterday that tickets were on sale, the venue might not be as good this time around but I still wouldn't miss the opportunity to see them again live and that says A LOT considering I avoiding going to concerts at all costs. The last time they were here we all splurged and upgraded our tickets to the VIP section at the The Depot and I dare say I speak for everyone when I mark that experience down as one that I will never forget or be able to accurately put into words. You CANNOT and SHOULD NOT miss this concert. So, in the next few days Jake and I will make our way down to SmithTIX and buy as many tickets as we need to. They're cheap (like $22) ~ last time we paid A LOT more so let me know if you want us to pick you up some tickets and how many. Click on their name above to go to their site for a listen if you wish. Oh and for fun, here's the cover of their newest album (close your eyes if you're turned off by a bunch of skinny dudes running across the street naked) ....
Two more cool things going on:
1) Halloween-costume magazine's have officially started hitting our mailbox again so I'm preparing for some serious discussions about who's wearing what and will keep you posted with the outcome.
2) The Wii allows you to purchase old-skool Nintendo games and I was all excited to challenge Cayden to a game of good old Super Mario Brother's last night. Oh the memories! He thought it was funny .. I expected nothing less considering the progress that's been made since then and the games he's used to playing. I kicked his trash.
And last of all. I saw this on Dooce and laughed until I cried. I know how she feels.... (pause the playlist so you can hear her)
Funny Huh ...
