small wonders graduation

brooklyn graduated from pre-school on monday.  it's one of those bitter sweet moments.  she's been a student at small wonders since she was three and now she is saying goodbye to her favorite teachers and classmates.

they sang a lot of songs.  like, several.  she takes this sort of thing very seriously.  as she should.  it is hilarious to watch her concentrate and it was very clear which songs were her favorites.

see her?  middle row. right under the balloons.

last year i sucked at teacher gifts.  it just never crossed my mind that i should take some time to say thank you to these very important people in my children's lives.  i tried to make up for it this year with what limited funds i had.  i made some cinnamon swirl bread and got my craft on by making personalized clipboards and oversized paper clips.

what do you think? kinda cute, right?

I can't believe I thought Brooklyn was like WAY older than preschool age. I was thinking like second grade....I know that's crazy, she just seems so grown up to be in pre school. She is adorable. Oh and Congrats on your marathon, that is a HUGE accomplishment!

She is such a doll! I can't wait for our kids to meet each other! Your homemade crafts our stinking cute! You should be proud!

And Tisk, tisk for never thinking about your teachers before! JK. You'd be surprised how many people don't! Thank Goodness, my parents treat me so well. Those things are really appreciated! I'm sure they were really grateful!

Exactly what a teacher would use and love! I want one so that can be my birthday gift this year. Everything you do is amazing. And, that daughter is just like her mother. Just gotta love 'em!
