brooklyn

i took this picture of brooklyn with my phone as we waited for the dr. to see her for her two year check up.  three years ago. i came across it today and it made me feel happy.

a couple of weeks ago brooklyn's pre-school teacher offered her condolences for the death of brooklyn's grandpa who died in a plane crash. 

today, she congratulated me on my pregnancy.

this is brooklyn.  always telling a story.  i won't call it lying but only because brooklyn's great grandfather did, in fact, die in a plane crash.  decades ago.  and, when i asked brooklyn about the pregnancy rumor she said she'd simply told her teacher that soon we were getting a new baby in our family which is true but i (for once) will not be the one bringing this child into the world.

i hate to say never believe anything brooklyn tells you, just keep an open mind before you judge based on her stories.  she's a keeper.
