Last Christmas when you posted about the Elf on a Shelf I was totally inspired and bought some at an after-Christmas sale. My plan is to send them to our siblings with kids in like a month or so. So here's my big question. Do you have any sort of poem or letter or explanation that goes along with your elf? Our elves have a little card attached to them with a 4-liner poem talking about being Santa's helpers, but really doesn't offer much explanation beyond that (it's actually a really lame poem) so I was planning to come up with a letter from Santa or something to basically give the job description of the elf so that the kids and parents understand. Most the nieces and nephew are under 5 so it'll work with them, but James may be too grown up to think it's cool. Anyway, if you have something and could send it to me, that would be awesome. If not, I'll come up with something after we've settled from our move. Thanks a lot!
