under the weather

we're a bit under the weather in our house today. times like these {when i feel like my head might fall off of my body} are when i long for my childhood the most.

i finally took the responsible approach to the situation and packed everyone up for a trip to the doctor. two sinus infections, two ear infections and a number of dollars worth of prescriptions later, i find myself dreaming of the chocolate shake i know my mom would bring me if i were eight years old.

for today, my bed and my gazillionth viewing of the twilight movie will have to do.
