from the moment you woke up you were so excited that it was YOUR birthday! your dad and i ran around all morning with our heads cut off because mommy likes to overwhelm herself and didn't think a ridiculous number of home-made cupcakes would be enough for your cupcake decorating party, we had to have home-made icing too you know...
i really think all of your friends had so much fun decorating their own cupcakes and making the aprons that were to be used for decorating cupcakes which we left laying outside to dry. we needed aprons to make the aprons. it was only a slightly hectic hour. and then the presents ....
you received (too) many fun presents this year and you were so excited about every single one!

after your friend party we drove up the canyon to have dinner with the family and great grandma L because it was her birthday too you know ..
poor baby brother was so sick with a tummy bug so we didn't get to stay for long but long enough for you to get another impressive stack of presents and have some more cupcakes!
