he who will not stop growing
{he who reads comic books}
thank gosh and golly he's not old enough to have his own first day of school because that would just be too much for me to bare but, he did have his own first of something to warrant a "stand by the tree" photo. this first something was a visit to the dentist today. of course, he'd been there before but he has always been a member of the audience, an innocent bystander if you will.
not today.
today he waited his turn in the "waiting room." i wonder why they don't make waiting rooms like this for adults. well, they do, sort of but only at spas and our insurance doesn't cover spa treatments. dang.
he chose to watch the princess and the frog which is awesome because the other options included cars, cloudy with a chance of meatballs and ice age.
he was perfectly brave.
perfect and brave.
what more did you expect?
he had a huge booger in his nose. the hard kind that us moms can't get out with just a tissue alone.
not a single person in scrubs cared though. they just thought he was perfectly brave because he was.
my little guy is growing up. it's too much for this mom.
